I often get asked if I have ever had writers block and my immediate answer is always no, but that's a lie. I never meant to lie, but I never really thought about it before. Now I can ponder the question and I guess I have writers block right now. Since my father passed away 10 months ago I have found it difficult to write. At first even one or two words were difficult now I can write 100-200 words at any one time but this is different from before. I use to see the story and be able to write 1000+ words in one sitting - flowing, simple, descriptive text that rarely need any major editing. Now I struggle; I force the words to come to me. I hope this will change; before writing was easy, not a challenge. I want it to be easy again, so I too can enjoy my work.
